What to Expect When You Come
When you come for your first visit, we will have you complete a short intake form, discuss any health issues you may have as well as discuss your desired outcome for the session. Your answers may suggest the areas of your body for which to focus the massage.
Most massage and bodywork techniques are traditionally performed with the client unclothed but I have a strict privacy policy.
For your privacy, you are required to keep either
undergarments or shorts on while receiving a massage.
The practitioner will leave the room while you undress; you then climb under the sheets onto a warmed, padded massage table and prepare yourself for the road to well-being.
Throughout the session you will be draped and only the area being worked on will be exposed. Your modesty and comfort level are always discussed and respected. As the massage progresses the work may become deeper and more specific to your needs, we always encourage an open dialog between Client and Therapist to insure the best possible care.
After the sessions is complete the practitioner will leave the room while you dress; you then come out to the desk and the therapist will review with you any recommendations to do after the massage and at-home techniques.
